Every time you ride a dirt bike, you experience some of the same sensations as a race car driver. Your hands get sweaty and numb. Blisters form where your fingertips meet the handlebars and sometimes they're even sewn shut. But what are the nerves that caused all of this? What if our insides were connected to your skin? What if we could fix this? Dirt Bike Grips provides a solution to this problem by connecting our arms and hands to our inner workings with sensor technology that can accurately measure how much blood flows through each finger joint every second (even during intense riding).

Buying guide

How to choose a dirt bike grips – example
WIDTH
Handles differ not only in thickness but also in width. Finding the proper width handles is a fairly straightforward process; However, problems can arise when you buy a wider grip than what you had before. If the hold is extended, you must slide the brake and shift the lever inward, making the grip harder to reach. Shorter grips are great for riders with tiny fingers, allowing them to control closer to the hand. The position of the rider's hand on the handlebars will also determine the width they should use.
THICKNESS
Grips are sold in different thicknesses for the same reason, as bicycle frames come in different sizes. Riders have different hand sizes, so find a pair of grips you're comfortable with. Thin grips can cause the driver to squeeze the handlebars too hard. On the other hand, larger handles can be more challenging to grasp for riders. Some riders who prefer soft grips will buy and wear them in larger sizes. The medium to hard compound handle will fit your hand perfectly when you buy it. Grip thickness is best determined when attached to the handlebars, so if you're buying a pair from a bike store, look around and see if they fit those handles to the bike in front of you. On or not. Room floor or not. They were displayed yet.
STYLE
Sliding Grips: Sliding grips are used on many different types of bikes — from low-end bikes to those that have been completely fooled. Companies like Lizard Skins, Ritchey, Oury, and ODI all make excellent slip-on grips. Lizard Skin's DPS grips and Ritchey's WCS grips feature a soft foam compound perfect for trail damping. They are also lighter than other grips, appealing to cross-country racers who count the grams. Our handles are world-famous. ODI is mainly focused on designing high-performance locking handles, but they have retained some classic sliding grips to incorporate for enthusiasts. One of the main concerns with sliding handles is that they often rely on friction to stay in place. Lizard Skins DPS handlebars use adhesive tape between the handlebars and handlebars. Other ways to keep the sliding handle in place include using glue or wire. Some slide handles are difficult to hold in wet weather but can be very comfortable in the dry season.

FAQs

Are all motorcycle grips the same size?

  • The handle has two standard sizes to choose from, 1" or 7/8". So when you want to replace the handle, measure your handlebar diameter and fit the handle to the required size.

Is the buckle on the handle thicker?

  • The buckle on the handle is usually thicker than the slide handle. The reason is that most models have an extra layer of hard plastic or metal between the handlebars and the handle surface. This additional material limits the thinness of the handle.

How to choose bicycle handlebars?

  • Riders have different hand sizes, so find a pair of grips you're comfortable with. Thin grips can cause the driver to squeeze the handlebars too hard. On the other hand, larger handles can be more challenging to grasp for riders. Some riders who prefer soft grips will buy and wear a larger size.
